This magnificent Victorian style villa was originally built in Auckland and 90 years later transported to the hillside just out of Rotorua. The views over rolling pastureland with Lake Rotorua and Mt Tarawera in the distance are just perfect.
After two years of renovation and restoration, Country Villa now offers three lovely decorated queen size rooms with ensuites. These rooms are located on the downstairs level. A suite upstairs, consisting of 2 bedrooms with private bathroom facilities provides accommodation for up to 4 guests.
The Loft is a self contained, open plan unit with kitchenette and private entrance. With twin beds and a sofa bed, this open plan unit can accommodate a total of 3 guests.
On cold evenings a cosy log fire burns in the guest lounge and on a fine morning it’s a joy to take a walk through the extensive gardens that surround the villa. After a walk, enjoy breakfast in the conservatory where the morning sun streams through the leadlight windows.
Country Villa is surrounded by farms. Although rural, it is only a 10 minute drive away from Rotorua city with an excellent choice of restaurants and tourist attractions.
